ABOUT THE ARTIST

My work is inspired by my personal experiences in relationships and parenthood. There are some reoccurring more universal themes as well including climate change. Threads represent connections and relationships in my work, balloons represent memories, and all my animals have individual symbolism. A very unique aspect of my work is that I shape my intaglio plates by hand using a jewelers saw.

ABOUT THE ART

I create prints using shaped intaglio copper plates that I make through a process of drawing, etching, and sawing, My prints are then embellished with painting, drawing, sewing, and collaging to create unique works of art that tell different stories.
