ABOUT THE ARTIST
I come from a family of artists. With acrylics drying quickly, the surface of the painting can be built upon easily layer upon layer. This way the image develops as I go. People in their environments and all the different light of all the various kinds of days inspires me most.
ABOUT THE ART
These oil or acrylic works are first drawn on canvas using drawings and watercolors done on location. I don't use photos for I like the abstraction that began in the original sketches. The figures, the shapes between them, & color relations are woven together to create the rhythm of the piece.
