My inspiration comes from my travels, searching for the stormy skies before they obliterate the sunlight. I delight in contrasts. I come close to being a storm chaser in my travels.

I love the immediacy of acrylics and the discipline it takes to create a quiet mood with intense color. My inspiration comes from my travels through stormy weather and the hope of finding a painter's sky. Capturing the drama of a particular time of day is what is important to me.
