ABOUT THE ARTIST

1/1

While my formal education is in Geology I have always been an artists. In 2019 I became a full time artist. Since then I have been honored to receive numerous awards at art festivals and have work hanging in several public spaces, such as the National Institute of Health and West Virginia University

ABOUT THE ART

I love turning mundane ordinary materials into art. I create my papers out of discarded objects, the parts of plants that would be thrown away or composted. Using a combination of collage and quilting techniques I turn these papers into art inspired by themes that resonate in my life.
