ABOUT THE ART
I love turning mundane ordinary materials into art. I create my papers out of discarded objects, the parts of plants that would be thrown away or composted. Using a combination of collage and quilting techniques I turn these papers into art inspired by themes that resonate in my life.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
While my formal education is in Geology, I have always been an artists. In 2019 I became a full time artist. Since then I have been honored to receive numerous awards at art festivals and have work hanging in several public spaces, such as the National Institute of Health and West Virginia University
