ABOUT THE ARTIST
After completing my MFA, I worked in clay for 20 years before beginning to paint. The rich surfaces I developed with glazes during that time still inform my paintings. Currently I have a full time studio practice, and show my work through galleries and street fairs across the country.
ABOUT THE ART
Taking inspiration from daily experience and an interest in the emotional lives of animals, my work chases invented story lines into the woods, where they hide. I follow their twisting path and find inspiration there.
