Murf Murphy

I am a self taught artist. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved to draw and paint. In high school, I started working in the window tinting industry. I immediately saw the potential in using these films to create art. I created a business doing artwork on glass storefronts, yachts, sliding doors and on cars. This evolved into fine art pieces which led to my career as an artist. My work has been featured at the United Nations Ambassadors' Ball. I have used many of my designs to raise money for environmental, educational and social organizations. My work has been featured on Jim Brickman's Beautiful World Special as well as on different magazine and album covers.

I love creating images that invoke emotion. I love the creative process, laying down random colors and working spontaneously and intuitively. Using color combinations, forms, textures, layers and patterns to compose an image that has never been seen before is very exciting.
