ABOUT THE ARTIST
Allison Cosmos holds a BFA degree from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. Over the past 28 years she has gained recognition in publications such as Elle Decor, Veranda and House Beautiful. Allison presently lives in Hockessin DE with her husband of 16 years and 2 young daughters.
ABOUT THE ART
Working in acrylic Allison layers her colors and details that result in a semi-translucent hand. Inspired by Audubon, Chinoiserie and miniature Indian paintings, Allison brings a fresh traditional look to her work. Endangered and extinct birds are her preferred subjects as well as unusual flora.
