ABOUT THE ARTIST
darrell george is a native to Long Branch, NJ., recently moved from Bethlehem PA. and currently living and working out of a studio in Milwaukee WI.
Darrell credits his growth as a painter to his academic study with artist Anna Rochegova from the Bridgeview School of Fine Arts in Long Island City.
ABOUT THE ART
layered oil paint exploring the tensions and harmonies between abstract and representational painting. A three stage process beginning with a finished abstract painting, the introduction of a figure, and resulting in a simple narrative all be it emotional moment fostering enjoyment.
