ABOUT THE ARTIST
I have been creating art for over 30 years! My formal training included an emphasis in drawing, painting, and printmaking. A recent highlight has been securing residencies at Yellowstone National Park (August 2020) and Sweetwater County Community Fine Arts Center, Wyoming (September 2022).
ABOUT THE ART
I investigate light, color, and form in Midwestern landscape by building compositions anchored in the symmetries developed from the Golden Section. I begin most pieces on site using graphite, charcoal, color pencil and other implements while placing these marks in layers of acrylic.
