ABOUT THE ARTIST
I have been a full time artist for over 40 years selling my work to galleries and the public. In 2011, I started to teach art at Penn College in Williamsport, PA. I retired from teaching in August of 2022 and plan to work on my artwork, enjoy my family, travel, play golf and racquetball.
ABOUT THE ART
I work on 1/2 inch MDF wood and I start with a black ground, adding cut outs from magazines, wallpaper, metal, drywall tape, paints,etc. I concentrate on the facial features first then build the rest of the image from that point. I usually have no preconceived idea of the end image.
