ABOUT THE ARTIST
I had always dreamed of working as an artist, but life got in the way. Around the time I turned 50 I began working in clay and that old dream returned. I began creating figures and telling stories in my sculptures.
ABOUT THE ART
I work in kiln fired paperclay creating quirky, whimsical figures that draw you in. Each figure is hand sculpted and hand painted in underglaze washes, typically fired multiple times to create a gritty, illustrative quality.
