ABOUT THE ARTIST
The watercolor botanical artworks that I create are part of a larger conservation initiative that I am pursuing in an attempt to bring awareness to the often overlooked yet very important beneficial organisms that play vital roles in healthy, biodiverse ecosystems.
ABOUT THE ART
My botanical watercolor paintings depict insects and birds with host and nectar plants that are native to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region, and I highlight endangered species. Many of the watercolors I use are created from locally foraged pigments and are an important aspect of my work.
