ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jessica is a 2nd gen artist who grew up in a house predating the civil war. She attended Austin Peay University on scholarship, King's College (UK) & Penland School of Craft, focusing on sculpture/painting. Currently residing in Cookeville, TN, she shows her paintings at fine art fairs nationally.
ABOUT THE ART
This oil painting series focuses on evoking minimalist & ironic representations that tempt the viewer to devise a narrative of her nostalgic commonplaces, architectural or anonymous figure subjects. Jessica's hand fabricated metal frames compliment her subjects while her paintings are rich in color.
