ABOUT THE ARTIST
I studied Fine Art & Architectural design in the 70's. I produced my first collages in 1975. I owned an Antique Shop/ Art Gallery in Ft. Wayne In. from 1978-2008. I have been a member of The Hoosier Salon for 30 yrs. I was awarded "Best New Artist" at The 2022 Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show.
ABOUT THE ART
Self-taught technique of fabric collage using reclaimed fabrics, leathers, suedes, paints & markers sewn to canvas backs and framed like a painting. Trained as an architectural designer with a bent toward the fine arts, I became disillusioned as a painter. These collages are small building projects.
