ABOUT THE ARTIST
For generations, the women in my family sewed. I loved it all, but yearned for something that was outside of the box. Always fascinated by texture and fabric, I began experimenting combining sewing traditional techniques with contemporary abstract art.
ABOUT THE ART
The shimmering vintage silks and satins from amazing women around the globe have a history that is tangible. The emotions embedded in the fabric are expressed through free motion stitch work accented with brilliant hand sewn beads and stones.
