ABOUT THE ARTIST

I create my sculptures with hand-made tools and clay, then make a mold. Using the lost wax technique all the details are captured in the bronze. It is a long and arduous process, but worth the wait, as there bronzes in parks and museums that have lasted over 5,000 years - truly a part of history.

ABOUT THE ART

I love to take my art beyond the literal, adapting the figure to convey philosophical ideas and abstract concepts. My motivation is to know others and myself more fully. Creating and exploring figures brings me closer to understanding myself and humanity in a fundamental, nonverbal, way.
