ABOUT THE ARTIST
Received a BFA from Tyler School of Art, worked as a muralist, collaborated with Robert Venturi for 20 years as a special project painter, has shown all over the country receiving many awards including several best in show. His work is in many private collections.
ABOUT THE ART
These pastels, are based on my personal experience growing up in Levittown in the 60's. Initially triggered by a dream of swimming in pools at night, these pastels have become an interpretation of how we live in the suburbs, and an attempt to find beauty in what we consider ugly.
