ABOUT THE ARTIST
I left school while studying architecture to create a glass studio. Eventually I began casting glass in concrete, a completely self-taught endeavor. That combo of glass and concrete has remained my passion since. Currently my work explores my architectural roots as well as abstracts.
ABOUT THE ART
Lightweight cast concrete wall sculpture with various textures, treatments and pigments including glass, found objects, encaustic, handmade paper, concrete stains and plant material. The work is cast in a handmade form. Texture and/or bas-relief are created in the form before the concrete is cast.
