ABOUT THE ARTIST
Art puts me in a state of balance. It allows me to express myself in ways that leave me with a greater sense of self. Over the past 40 years, I have worked professionally in an industry focused on the arts which has exposed me to incredible experiences that inform my work.
ABOUT THE ART
The tactile nature of clay attracts me to this medium. My pieces are hand built in stoneware, with multiple layers of slips and underglazes.. After the final firing, a layer of wax is applied. Always looking for ways to add a bit of whimsy to each piece, I easily get absorbed in the process.
