ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am inspired by the things I see everyday on the drive to the studio or the drive to the next city for a show. Images of seemingly mundane landscapes speaks to me in their quiet intensity.
ABOUT THE ART
Using oil paint and cold wax, I build up texture with palette knives and other tools. Timing is critical and must work at quick pace to incise, scratch and scrap paint off desired areas. That movement and energy is felt in each piece.
