ABOUT THE ARTIST
I started painting seriously in college. Having moved many times in 30 years, I have come home to Pennsylvania and have rediscovered the landscape. I'm enchanted by the rolling hills, the light and the animals that populate it. It's an endless flow of ideas and challenge to recreate them in paint.
ABOUT THE ART
I look for light and how it changes the color of the landscape. Changing light can either be dramatic or extremely subtle - both move me to paint. I'm also attracted to the infinite and as well as the personal space of the landscape. I love to push both extremes while composing my paintings.
