I have received many awards-the most recent was an Achievement Award at the Bonita Springs National Art Show, Bonita Springs, Fl. I'm most proud of being selected Woman of the Year in the Arts by the Village Times in Setauket & Best of Show at Ann Arbor State Street, Ann Arbor, Mi
ABOUT THE ART
My etchings are soft ground etchings-made on zinc plates with nitric acid. The etchings are unique-they are inked a la poupe-all the colors (oil inks) are on the plate at the same time & then hand pulled through the press. This yields a sort "painterly" effect for my land and sea scapes.
