ABOUT THE ARTIST

Every watercolor is a unique creation, blending Asian and Western watercolor traditions. I use wet-on-wet technique with squirrel brushes, letting the bird's personality emerge. Inspired by Japanese Sumi-e, I honor their spirit on 300lb Arches Paper with Sumi-e Paint, celebrating their spirits.

ABOUT THE ART

Crafted uniquely, each watercolor piece starts with fluid wet-on-wet layers using squirrel brushes, revealing the bird's distinct personality. Free from sketches, honoring the spirit, on durable 300lb Arches Watercolor Paper, and using lasting Japanese Sumi-e Paint, resulting in timeless art.
