ABOUT THE ARTIST
As a sculptor, the only thing I find more inspiring than the human form is the human spirit. Capturing motion, emotive impressions, and the pure essence of humanity is always my ultimate goal.
ABOUT THE ART
Hand-built mixed media figurative sculpture. I begin with a steel armature that is shaped to form. A series of synthetic clay layers are built up around the armature. The piece is then hand carved and sanded into its final form. The piece is finished with a patina using metal dustings and oil paint.
