ABOUT THE ARTIST
I enjoy the technical aspects of printmaking. Art that comes together as an image at a distance but tends to break into abstraction when viewed up close has always intrigued me. Reduction cutting produces this type of image for me with the layering of color and the interplay of lines and dots.
ABOUT THE ART
linoleum reduction cut prints: I cut my images into a single linoleum block; print lightest color first then cut the block more and print next color over previous color. Precise registration between block and paper is critical for these limited edition prints. I print them on heavy weight
