ABOUT THE ARTIST
I enjoy the technical aspects of printmaking. Art that comes together as an image at a distance but tends to break into abstraction when viewed up close has always intrigued me. Reduction cutting produces this type of image for me with the layering of color and the interplay of lines and dots.
ABOUT THE ART
wood engravings: I engrave my images on maple blocks. I print my limited editions on rag paper with an etching press.
