I am inspired by visits to art galleries and museums as well as friendships with other artists. Also, the city around me is a constant source of subject matter.
ABOUT THE ART
I create Zinc plates in the traditional process of intaglio printing.My plate is heated and coated with a 'ground' (wax).With an etching needle I draw my image on the plate scratching away the wax where I want the (Nitric) acid to bite into the metal.The tones are achieved using powdered resin &acid
