ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am intrigued by how light and color create mood. The expressive potential of landscape imagery in particular draws me in. I prefer to not rely on photos, but instead to work intuitively in the studio. I seek transcendence through the pliable medium of oil paint.

Imagined landscapes are created in oil paint without the use of photos or studies. Using opaque and transparent layers to create color, depth and mood, I seek a transcendent quality of light.
