I am constantly drawn to nature's relentless effort to reclaim human made surfaces and the beautifully nuanced grit of all that is crumbling, rusting & decaying. I celebrate that push and pull on canvas with layers of saturated color. My years as a fiber artist echo throughout my process.

Contemporary abstracts created by applying numerous translucent layers of oil over a wash of Flashe vinyl emulsion. Notable for beautifully blended transitions, saturated color and expressive mark-making. Accented with cold wax, pigment sticks and graphite. Originals only.
