ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am most inspired by the people in my life, I love adding facial features of my loved ones into my work. Sculpting ribbons of glass is what I'm most known for, I love the challenges and freedoms it provides, like painting in three dimensions.
ABOUT THE ART
Blown and hot-sculpted glass. Layers of glass color are manipulated on the blowpipe using torches and simple metal tools, shaping the glass from the inside and out. Traditional venetian approach combined with novel techniques.
