ABOUT THE ARTIST
I spent over 20 years creating movements in the gymnastics world. Now I apply my exploration of movement to the lathe and carving. The forms are created by multi axis turning and or carving of wood.
ABOUT THE ART
The constant challenge for me is to find the fewest lines in a piece to convey a flowing form and/or a feeling. This is done by a combination of woodturning and / or carving. Also, I focusing on utilizing the characteristics of the wood and other materials to create these pieces.
