ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am a Chicago based artist born in Canada that creates unique botanical and abstract landscape works of art inspired by nature and the world that surrounds us. The use of an emotive color palette combined with beach sand from my family cottage in Ontario, recycled wood fibers, shredded studio paperwork, industrial staples and at minimum 25-30 layers of acrylic are all applied by hand to the wood panel or canvas with almost no use from paint brushes or palette knives.
ABOUT THE ART
A mixture of beach sand, recycled wood fibers, shredded paper, industrial staples, plaster and acrylics applied to either canvas or wood panels by hand without the use of brushes or palette knives.
