ABOUT THE ARTIST
I work in encaustic mixed media. I paint with beeswax, resin and pigment and then fuse with heat. I explore the nature of myth which is universal yet is connected through layers of ancient and present. Wax enables them to persist, revealing layers of time as their own brand of relic.
ABOUT THE ART
I cook wax and resin and add dry pigments to create a palette. I build a narrative on wood with collage then paint with hot wax. Then fuse with a torch to build a surface that can withstand heat.
