ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am consumed by the stillness of nature. The serenity of water, the dynamic nature of clouds & sea; these visions are ever-present in my mind's eye. Tranquil seascapes with obscure horizon lines draw in viewers. Bold colors or palette knife lie beneath a multitude of layers of softer tones to create an ethereal painting with depth & texture. I use both acrylic and oil paints individually or together for their different properties. A metamorphosis occurs to spark my creative journey of endless possibilities.
ABOUT THE ART
My paintings have a multitude of layers that give intrigue to my atmospheric seascapes & solitary boats. A metamorphosis occurs that I am part of, but don�t feel like I control. I often lose track of time and space as I create using unique color combinations, brush strokes and palate knife work.
