ABOUT THE ARTIST
Intrigue and curiosity in the small observations I make while out in nature has led me to develop a highly detailed realistic painting technique. I enjoy painting with detailed strokes to produce a genuine lifelike feel to my painting, leaving the viewer transported to the world within the canvas. In order to truly capture and respect these characteristics through my paintings, I use and blend soft-body acrylic paints in many layers and glazes, giving the illusion of depth and authentic-looking texture to the subjects I paint. My goal is to encourage individuals to study my work closely and find a new appreciation for the environment that surrounds us.
ABOUT THE ART
I'm an acrylic painter that specializes in highly-detailed realistic waterscape paintings. I use soft-body or watered down acrylic paints to apply glazes and thin layers to emulate depth and vibrancy. I utilize a variety of brush strokes to create and blend shapes that emulate the movement of water.
