My inspiration comes from my travels through stormy weather throughout the country. I do this purposefully, finding the dark skies, sunlight foregrounds before all goes dark.

I love the immediacy of acrylics and the discipline it takes to create a quiet mood with intense color. My inspiration comes from my travels through stormy weather and the hope of finding a painter's sky. Capturing the drama of a particular time of day is what is important to me.
