ABOUT THE ARTIST
I love working with floral designs. For a while I was creating cake toppers, bouquets, and boutonnieres for weddings, and now I'm more so focused on making table center pieces. I love watching my work sell, and being able to create more knowing people are willing to buy my work! It's so exciting! Also there's the idea of renting out my work for formal events like weddings or corporate meetings.
ABOUT THE ART
All of the pieces I'm submitting are lampworked borosilicate glass. Each element is made from clear glass and mixed with colored glass. Once I have a shape I like, I�ll fuse it to another shape creating a larger sculpture. It�s a lot like welding, the process of fusing each element together .
