ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am an oil painter from the Finger Lakes region of New York. Inspired by the natural beauty of the landscape I attempt to capture the atmosphere of the over looked places and the spectacular spaces one can find exploring the dirt roads. I have been painting for 25 years and I have a Bachelors of Fine Art from Buffalo University, and a Masters of Fine Art from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. I create unique, original, art using the very old, traditional method of pushing pigments in oil around on a board until it looks enough like something to communicate something. I believe that visual art and specifically realism, is a universal language that can express what words can only flatten. Ineffable.
