ABOUT THE ART
My process starts with midrange clay. I hand build and sculpt each piece until I achieve the desired size, texture, and subject. Each piece represents a remembered childhood event, figure, or family member who’s presence I hold onto with loving memory.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am a self taught clay artist. After working in the interior design profession for the past 40 years, I developed a love of 3d artwork. Having worked in 3d professionally, it was a natural fit when I searched out a medium that I wanted to experience and master. I strive to add authenticity to each piece and draw on childhood memories and experiences to establish the personality I want to convey with my work. Each piece is finished with a unique beeswax application to add patina.
