ABOUT THE ART
I use Sennelier soft pastels on UArt sanded pastel paper mounted to archival AlumaComp panels and framed behind Museum Glass or Plexi to document the awe and raw power of Mother Nature.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
My work centers on the power of Mother Nature. I am particularly inspired by water and cloud formations as storms move in. After surviving a tornado when I was young, I have been consumed with observing the weather and how it affects our world and all the souls that live here. My goal is to capture the energy of nature, from calm, still moments to the overwhelmingly powerful ones that make you aware of every single particle in your being and surroundings.
