Glass (Non Functional)
ABOUT THE ART

My glass art is kiln-formed at high temperatures, up to 1450 degrees, to create pattern and form. My work is mounted on white acrylic for a clean, polished appearance. I strive to create colorful, dynamic pieces with a modern aesthetic. Much of my glass is "waved" for added eye appeal and dimension.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

As an artist, I am inspired by color and shape. Everything I imagine and everything I create in regards to art is abstract. I am a runner and my best visions come to me when I am out on a run. I like my pieces to tell two stories. One store is an overall picture and the other is that of the all of the details I put into each piece. Most of my works have hundreds to thousands of pieces of glass that I have hand scored and hand laid. My Slender Wave Tapestries and Matrices are unique to me. Each goes through a number of steps over days to achieve the final outcome. You will not see them anywhere else.
