ABOUT THE ART
Using different types of salvaged hardwoods and Utilizing a variety of wood sculpting methods I create unique colorful objects of organic forms. I hand carve the final expressive details and use a variety of painting techniques to finish the pieces with several layers of clear lacquer.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Using different types of salvaged hardwoods, I begin with a chainsaw creating a rough shape then proceeding to a lathe, I turn the piece until I achieve a symmetrical shape. Lastly, I hand carve it for the final expressive details. I use a variety of painting techniques and finish my pieces with several layers of clear lacquer until I accomplish a bright coat
