ABOUT THE ART
My process is spontaneous and intuitive. I work from within and play with color and movement. My mixed media works consist of acrylic, pastel, charcoal, graphite, watercolor, ink and mica flake on watercolor paper. The works are float-mounted on mat board and framed in white behind plexiglass.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am inspired by just being and working from within. When I paint, it is an opportunity for me to share what flows through me. I try to stay open and trust myself and the flow of life. As I paint, I become aware of feelings and thoughts and I grow closer to the essence of who I am. All of this goes into the work. The way I paint is intuitive, and I try to remain open and playful. The brush is an extension of my body and soul and through doing I discover new ways to make marks and create.
