ABOUT THE ART

A desire to connect to past stories, both deeply personal and widely shared, influences my work. Secondhand materials are cut, collaged, layered with acrylic and intuitively composed into new spaces. Closely viewed, the pieces create a sense of nostalgia, but in ways that feel fresh, unexpected.

I use mainly secondhand textiles and leather scraps in my collages.
