About the ART
Assemblique creates unique upcycled sculptures by carefully assembling broken and discarded objects from the past, such as parts from antique clocks, cameras, typewriters, adding machines and sewing machines. Influenced by primitive art and times past, these sculptures also hint of the future.

About the ARTIST
A year long trip to Africa in 1990 gave me a love for primitive art and masks. I was profoundly influenced by the Africa people’s ability to create art with whatever materials were available to them. On my return, I began using similar techniques to create masks from objects I found in my daily life
