About the ARTIST
I create work about navigating life’s challenges. Currently my work focuses on motherhood, self-exploration and our relationships. I use animal symbolism to capture these tender and intimate moments that we all experience. Each animal and other elements are created on watercolor paper and are then blended with found papers and objects such as fiber and sculpted paper before I incorporate them with the base of the painting. The bases of the paintings are heavy body acrylic on canvas
