About the ART
Exploring stories of inner demons, desires and vulnerabilities of the human mind through layers of encaustic, mark-making, pattern and collage. The process of layering and excavating layers of encaustic and acrylic paint, I replicate nature’s destructive power as well as its regenerative abilities.

About the ARTIST
I utilize hiking/walking as an art practice. My work is rooted in landscape, so inserting my body and experiencing the landscape with it is imperative. Along the trail, I find a place to sit, meditate, then paint loose sketches that serve as a bridge between wild nature and formal studio practice.
