Each original watercolor is a unique creation, crafted with a fluid wet-on-wet technique using squirrel brushes. I layer colors meticulously to reveal the bird's personality without pre-drawn sketches. Executed on 300lb Arches Paper with Japanese Sumi-e Paint, ensuring timeless art.
My artistic journey is driven by the profound connection between humanity and nature, with a particular focus on birds. Through my art, I celebrate this inherent bond. Each watercolor piece is a unique creation, beginning with a fluid wet-on-wet base and building up with refining layers. This technique allows the bird's distinctive personality to naturally emerge, without the constraints of pre-drawn sketches. The process honors the spirit and essence of these magnificent creatures.
