Acrylic and oil on acrylic panels utilizing large brushes and a gestural, kinetic approach. Started flat on the studio floor on the back of the panel with acrylic paint and completed on the easel on the front side with oil.

About the ARTIST
My work explores the relationship between abstraction and representation, the fusion of opposites and that which emerges from their convergence. My approach is rooted in the core principles of the language of art while reaching for an evolution. Created on both sides of clear plexiglass using acrylic, ink, and oil, I employ kinetic brushwork, gravity-driven effects, and transparency to produce depth and luminosity. At its core, the work celebrates life and seeks a transcendent function.
