ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am inspired by the fluid movement of ribbon and how the sphere form, with its infinite dimension, interacts with that ribbon. I paint unusual color adjacencies that are pushed to the limit and appear to float through the sculptures.
ABOUT THE ART
I create abstract contemporary sculptures by painting wooden spheres in graphic patterns with watercolor and/or acrylic paint. These spheres are then suspended in ribbon like forms sculpted with PLA.
